Aaron Biller brings over 25 years experience in journalism and Media Relations to Ostrow & Partners' clients, counseling with and making placements for a diverse range of Fortune 500 companies and leading real estate and consulting organizations as well as innovative medical and chemical biotechnology companies on the cutting edge of their marketplaces.
He has represented such professional services organizations as law firm Patterson Bellknap Webb & Tyler; accounting firm Deloitte & Touche; Koeppel Tener Real Estate Services; the benefits consulting business of Alexander & Alexander; and the audit, health care and utilities practices of Coopers & Lybrand. His real estate experience also includes representation of the Building Owners' and Managers' Association of New York, the Hotel Association of New York City and the Harborside Financial Center, for which he has provided issues management as well as media relations counsel. He has also provided Media Relations for Home-Link Services, Inc.and SangStat Medical Corporation
In Health Care, Mr. Biller has handled Corporate Media Relations assignments for pharmaceutical industry giants SmithKline Beecham and Schering-Plough as well as biotechnology companies Recombinant BioCatalysis, Three-Dimensional Pharmaceuticals, SangStat Medical Corporation and Human Genome Sciences. He has arranged placements for these companies' activities in publications ranging from The Wall Street Journal and Business Week to the investment wire services Dow-Jones, Reuters and Bloomberg, to specialist media such as BioCentury, Scientific American and Discover. He also maintains an extensive list of business television contacts for clients on the major networks, CNN, CNNfn, CNBC and the business programming of PBS.
Prior to entering the public relations field, Aaron was a journalist, rising to editor of such publications as Real Estate Weekly, Show Business and The Fire Island News. He has also served as a contributing writer/editor to Long Island Magazine, Better Buildings and Real Estate Forum.
A resident of New York City, he is a graduate of Brooklyn College, from which he holds a B.A. in English and an M.A in Political Science.
